Description

Might as well post it here. Sorry for my absence I've not been in the mood. I've been lacking in originality so once I finished this, I'll be finishing on two of the pony art and then back to what I've been doing :| Makingshittyoriginalart.

Oh and if you want, feel free to ask me for a request(send notes). Make sure it isn't too obscure.

"Why yes, of course. Orion is actually an homage to a great warrior of ponykind. However, few of them know that Orion was actually a great personal friend of the previous set of Element Holders. He was quite a sturdy fellow, and very smart. He was one of the architects of the Canterlot Palace. That waterfall? His idea.

He fell in battle, defending Canterlot from a siege. Captain of the Royal Guard, eaten by a dragon. A dragon! Infernal thing swallowed him, and he managed to pierce its heart with his sword. We cut its belly open but we were too late. Crushed ribcage and acid burns over his entire body. He bestowed his son to royal care with his final words..."

"Where was I?
Oh yes. Orion. Warrior born an earth pony, with the Pleiades on his flank. Rose to captain of the guard, died protecting Canterlot from a dragon siege. Most ponies know this.
Few ponies know the most important thing: He one of my many friends.
I visit him in the Summer Lands often...

I started building a place for him in the nocturnal dome that very night. It took a few centuries, but it that's the way it is. Fusion takes a while to get going, as Celestia can attest.

So now you know the origin of Orion... and why I saw fit to give him a marker in my night sky. 'I gaze upon a vision of righteousness.", as he was wont to say in my presence.

So look up. Gaze upon a vision of righteousness."
